What is this brew bar giveaway you’re running?

This is a new referral scheme we are running for the next month until October 15th! The prize is a full home brew bar of Fellow products. Specifically six items: Ode Brew Grinder, Stagg EKG, Clara French Press, Pour-Over Set, Atmos Canister, Carter Mug. We will let you select the colors of each as well as the size. If you own something already and want to swap it out for another comparable Fellow product, we’ll let you do that too! Maybe you own a Stagg EKG but would rather have a Corvo? We’re flexible.

To qualify, you must refer friends to Fellow Drops and for every 3 unique friends who purchase a drop over the month timeframe, you will be entered to win the brew bar. Your referrals must each purchase at least one drop in order to count. We will randomly select a winner on October 15th from our qualifying entries using a random generator. For every set of 3 friends who you refer who purchase a drop, you will be entered again (i.e. refer 3 friends who purchase = 1 entry, refer 6 friends who purchase = 2 entries, etc.). More entries = higher chance of winning the brew bar!

Referrals must sign up between September 15th - October 15th. Three unique friends must purchase in order to count (you can’t have one friend purchase 3 times, it must be 3 different friends). Referrals must be unique (can’t be the same person with a different phone number). Referrals must be new to Fellow Drops (unsubscribing and re-subscribing will not count as a net new referral). Referrals have to be subscribed on October 15th (can’t purchase then immediately unsubscribe). All this to say - anyone not in the spirit of a fair contest won’t be considered. If you referred friends to Fellow Drops JUST before this contest started, get in touch. We’ll see if we can count them.

After each of the 4 drops in the September 15th - October 15th period, we will proactively text you with your progress towards entering the contest. For example, if you referred a bunch of friends and 2 of them purchased, we will text you “2 of your referrals have purchased. 1 more referral to purchase and you will have 1 entry”, or if 3 of your friends purchased, we will text you “3 of your referrals have purchased. You now have 1 entry for the home brew bar!”. If you don’t get a text, you can assume you have not qualified for the raffle.

How do I sign up for Fellow Drops?

It’s free to sign up, we just need your phone number. We require you to enter your address and credit card information upon signup so you can easily order our drops via text. Your card will only be charged if you make an order.

Who do I contact if I’m having issues signing up?

Please submit a request for help with Fellow Drops on the fellowproducts.com website. Our customer service team can help you sign up and answer any and all questions you may have.

Who is eligible for Fellow Drops?

Anyone in the continental U.S. who has an address that can receive USPS, FedEx, and UPS packages.

Why do I have to give my credit card before ordering?

To make the program as simple as possible, we ask for your credit card information upfront and store it securely in an encrypted platform (Stripe) so that we can easily bill you when you respond to the text message. Your card will only be charged if you make an order.

How do I place an order?

Every week you'll receive a text message describing a coffee. All you need to do is respond to the text message with the number of bags you'd like to purchase (1, 2…) and we'll ship to the address we have on file and charge your credit card. Drops typically open at 9am PST / 12pm EST and you have 12 hours to respond to the text to place an order. After the drop closes, we will no longer accept additional orders.

When do I receive my order?

All our coffees are roasted to order and shipped ASAP for ultimate freshness. Our coffee offerings debut on Tuesday, process on Wednesday, and ship out Thursday or Friday. Once shipped, your coffee will arrive within 3-5 business days. Larger orders tend to arrive quicker in 2-3 business days from the ship date.

What shipping carrier do you use?

Each bag ships directly from the roaster. Typically our roasters use USPS but some use UPS and FedEx. Your address must be able to receive packages from these carriers in order to receive coffee from us.

How often will you text me?

We will text you once a week about our latest drop. When you place an order, we’ll follow up with a confirmation text that day and one more text on Friday with tracking information.

Is this whole bean coffee or pre ground?

We only offer whole bean coffee.

What roast profiles do you feature?

We tend to lean towards single-origin light roasts for pour-over. Occasionally we select a coffee with a more developed roast profile that surprises us, but that said, none of our coffees are traditional dark roasts. We’re always on the hunt for exceptional and interesting flavors: coffees with an amazing origin story, unique process, or just a profile so damn good you have to brew and drink the entire bag all in one day.

How much are the coffees?

Our drops are typically in the $18-23 range including coffee and shipping. We prioritize offering coffees where everyone in the supply chain is taken care of and work with roasters who equitably compensate producers, which sometimes commands a higher price tag.

Can I refer friends and family?

Yes! Reply “refer friends” to the Fellow Drops phone number for all the information you need to refer. We will launch incentives to refer people in the future so be sure they sign up with your referral code so we can attribute them to your account.

How do I change my shipping address?

To update your shipping address, simply reply “update address” to the Fellow Drops phone number to generate a secure link. During an open drop, as long as you update your shipping address before the drop closes, your order will be shipped to your updated address. Drops typically open at 9am PST / 12pm EST and close at 9pm PST / midnight EST.

How do I edit or cancel an order?

Orders can only be edited or canceled while the drop is open and active. Drops typically open around 9am PST / 12pm EST when we sent you a text with a coffee offer and close at 9pm PST / midnight EST. Simply reply ‘edit order’ or ‘cancel order’ to the text message and follow the prompts in the texts to adjust your order. In other words, you have until Tuesday evening to change your mind. For any further issues or specific circumstances, please submit a request to talk to a human.

How do I change my credit card on file?

To update your credit card, simply reply “update payment” to the Fellow Drops phone number to generate a secure link to update your credit card information. Please note that these links are uniquely created each time and will expire so if you need to update it again in the future, you will need to reply “update payment” to the phone number again.

How much is shipping?

Shipping cost is specified in the text and ranges from free to a couple of bucks.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You're not enrolled in a subscription program, so there's no need to cancel per se. You'll only be charged if you respond to the text message. However, if you'd like to stop receiving text messages, simply respond with STOP to the message and you'll be removed from our text list.
